(San Dimas, CA – April 17, 2018) – San Dimas Community Hospital (SDCH) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Parrish Scarboro as its new Chief Executive Officer. San Dimas Community Hospital is a member of Prime Healthcare, an award-winning health system based in Ontario, CA with 45 hospitals in 14 states.

Mr. Scarboro joins SDCH and Prime Healthcare after serving as Chief Operating Officer for Ochsner Baptist Medical Center in New Orleans, LA, a member of Ochsner Health System, where he directed operations of the 195-bed hospital, medical group, and 18 clinics. Prior to his experience with Ochsner Health System, Scarboro served as Chief Operating Officer at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA, with oversight of the 160-bed acute care hospital, 38-bed acute psychiatric program, and a 40-bed skilled nursing facility.

His career in Southern California also includes positions at Southern California Permanente Medical Group in Riverside where he served as Assistant Medical Group Administrator and at Tenet-owned JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio, where he was Chief Operating Officer. Scarboro earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix and is certified as a radiologic technologist.
