National recognition honors Scarboro’s leadership in quality, safety, strategic growth, and expanded access to care
SAN DIMAS, CA. – August 5, 2026 – San Dimas Community Hospital announced today that Chief Executive Officer Parrish Scarboro has been named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s 2026 list of “240 Community Hospital CEOs to Know.” The national recognition celebrates community hospital leaders who advance quality, expand services, and strengthen the long-term health of the communities they serve.
Scarboro’s inclusion marks the third consecutive year he has appeared on Becker’s annual community hospital CEO list. Becker’s specifically recognized his commitment to transparency in quality and patient safety, which has helped San Dimas Community Hospital earn high ratings from The Leapfrog Group and three “100 Top Hospitals” designations from IBM Watson Health. Becker’s also noted his prior service as CEO of Prime Healthcare’s Glendora Community Hospital and Chino Valley Medical Center.

Under Scarboro’s leadership, San Dimas Community Hospital has continued to invest in advanced care and the patient experience. Improvements include facility upgrades; new state-of-the-art hospital beds; advanced laboratory, radiology, and surgical equipment; the Mako robotic-arm assisted surgery system; and implementation of the Epic electronic medical record system.
The hospital is also preparing to open a new subacute unit later this year, further expanding the continuum of care available close to home. The unit will support patients who require a higher level of skilled, longer-term medical care following an acute hospital stay.
Becker’s Hospital Review published its 2026 “240 Community Hospital CEOs to Know” list on July 24, 2026. Leaders and organizations cannot pay for inclusion, and the list was developed by the Becker’s editorial team following a nomination process.
